Developed by CATCH-ON partner, Howard Brown Health, HEALE was established to center evidence-based and community informed skills needed to augment aging LGBTQ patient-centered care in order to achieve best practice tools that improve health outcomes. This groundbreaking curriculum includes an introduction to the LGBTQ communities, and further addresses barriers to care experienced by older LGBTQ people, sexuality, legal and financial concerns, the aging transgender community, and HIV and aging.
